1. Idea

LeitOn® stands for for a combination of the German word for PCBs, Leiterplatten, and Online. Our organization was established in 2004 by a team with long-lasting industry expertise. Based on our experience we have developed a new flexible business model which provides lasting favorable prices and reliable quality online.

The LeitOn GmbH is specialized in producing PCBs. We are pleased to provide you expert advice and will answer all your PCB production related questions. Daily solutions for feasibility studies, cost targeting consulting, and defect detection in layouts are your advantage at LeitOn. Our vision: We strive to be the leading international provider for PCBs online. This includes providing outstanding service, fairness, technological expertise, a wide product range, comfort, speed, and reliability. LeitOn aims to continuously improve its relationship with all of its stakeholders and is committed to remain engaged for social and environmental causes.

  Quality and timeliness are our greatest priorities to gaining trust. We continuously improve our internal process for quality assurance and logistics in order to exceed your expectations.
• Transparancy
  Price and quality transparency have are paramount to our work. Prices of standard PCBs and technologies with all their tolerances can be easily understood online. Any inquiries will result in the same transparent price you would have received online.
• Environment
  We care for our environment. All our suppliers are to provide procedures which go beyond minimum government regulations. Internally we constantly generate ideas to reduce consumption of power, water, paper and other expendable materials. Improving production processes to increase the yield of first-class PCBs as well as selecting environmentally friendly processes and materials, are also central to our operation.

  PCBs are more than just plain material. There are countless processes and challenges in pre and post production. Feasibility studies, circuit diagram design, layout as well as mounting, assembly and packaging – We provide you with solutions and competent contacts allowing you streamline your product’s process chain in an optimal way.

  Rapid technological advancements and the trend towards increased individualization also affects PCBs. However, we believe change and dynamism keep people prepared for upcoming challenges. The technological range and variants will therefore always be adjusted to the new requirements-most of it comfortable and transparent within our online calculation platform.

  Inquiries are processed at once. Questions regarding technologies and layouts will be clarified and you will promptly receive a feedback for example when the Design Rules Check indicates critical areas. If needed, we will immediately get in contact with you.

We strive to be available round the clock, provide quotations at night, and to process your inquiries on weekends, just to give you some examples of our commitment. 4. History

2010	Now there are 14 people working in Berlin. The newly opened office in Guadalajara, Mexico employes four people. A new slogan "count on best service!" and a new logo reveal LeitOn's focus: wide range of options, fair priced and exceptionally fast response times. The new "PCB Toolbox" is online, where PCB designers can caluclate several parameters for their printed circuits. This underlines the services on offer.
2009	The team in Germany expands to 11 people. New office space is leased and we launch a vocational training program for an industrial business management trainee. Our global expansion towards the American continent progresses with the opening of a branch in Mexico.
2008	LeitOn positions itself in the area "Service & PCBs". Inquiries are processed at exceptional speed and customers all over Europe are enthusiastic. Continuous strong growth results in LeitOn employing 9 people in Berlin by January 2008. In Hong Kong and China LeitOn now employs 7 people. LeitOn is DIN EN ISO9001:2000 certified. PCBs according to TS16949. The English website goes online. LeitOn introduces new options in the online PCB calculation: 0.20mm bore diameter Blind holes Panel production based on drawings
2007	LeitOn expands its service enormously. The Ocean concept offers improved possibilities for the online calculation: Online calculation of German made prototypes Online calculation of German made medium volume series Online calculation of flexible PCBs from China Online calculation of SMD stencils Additional product areas are introduced making LeitOn an all-around service provider in the electronics sector: Assembly for mass production in China Design services
2006	LeitOn continuous to grow and opens a branch in Hong Kong in order to optimize sourcing from China. All products are RoHS/WEEE conform. The team in Germany reaches 8 employees. After just a short time 5 people are working for us in Hong Kong and China.
2005	LeitOn grows strong and expands its team to 5 employees. Additional services are added: Mass production of PCBs in China Assembly of PCB prototypes Various special productions PCBs with aluminum cores or carriers PCBs with thick copper High frequency PCBs

5. Organization

LeitOn is not a rigid organization. LeitOn builds on internally horizontal hierarchies, communication across all areas, and an integrative approach to utilize accumulated knowledge for innovative solutions. Our dynamic environment is lead by a clear strategy. This is the only way a learning organization like LeitOn can grow and face new challenges.

6. Numbers & Facts

Revenue Development LeitOn successfully gained momentum in 2010, growing with an unexpected rate of 53% from 1,53 mio. Euro (2009) to 2,35m Euro in 2010. This was well above the expected growth rate of 20% and mainly due to an unprecedented rebound in Germany's factory output. For 2011 we are expecting a growth rate of about 20% to about 3,0 mio. Euro. Especially growing demand for prototype-to-mass production orders - in which Leiton is well positiond havin access to German prototype productions and Chinese mass productions - is expected to support thistarget.

Customer Base LeitOn currently has a customer base of over 3050. By continuously expanding our personal networks, improvement of existing services, as well as recommendations by our customers, we expect to achieve a customer base of 4000 in 2011. We would like to kindly express our gratitude for your trust!

Employees in Berlin 2010 our programming team and our sales team were each increased by a full time position. We also employed one full time quality assurance staff. We are planning at least one more additional position for CAD/CAM in 2011.

Industry Composition LeitOn serves a broad spectrum of industries with various PCBs. Industrial electronics are expected to grow more than the other sectors in 2011. Consumer electronics is expected to shrink in its overall share. IT and Automotive will likely remain flat in its share of production.
