1. Why do positioning prints on copper pads have to be avoided?
   Rating: no rating yet
   To ensure a flawless soldering of the printed circuit board (PCB), silk prints must not cover the copper pads. There are comfortable tools available to cut silk print off the pads. Cutting out the silk print may blurr or clear the result, so that at least the components’ specification should not be printed over a pad.

   The solder mask serves as orientation for the appropriate areas of clearance. Any silk print overlapping the solder mask will be cut out eventually.
