New location in Bangalore strengthens global presence

Leiton continues its international growth course: After almost two decades of successful presence in Germany and China, we are now opening a new branch in Bangalore, India. The new location marks another milestone in the expansion of our global network, which will offer Leiton customers worldwide even more flexibility, delivery reliability and technical expertise.

“India offers an enormous talent pool. In a very short space of time, we have built up a highly motivated team of six excellently trained engineers there,” explains Marcus Knopp, our Managing Director. “What particularly excites us is the passion and curiosity of these young talents - their technical expertise and innovative spirit enrich our entire company.”

An additional advantage: many team members bring with them existing contacts to established high-tech PCB suppliers from their previous positions - including specialized manufacturers in the field of HDI and high-layer boards with certifications for military and aerospace. “This direct connection gives us immediate access to new, high-performance partners - a huge strategic gain for us and our customers,” says Knopp.

By expanding to India, we are responding to the increasing demands on global supply chains and technological innovation cycles. At the same time, the new location contributes to the diversification of our supplier base - a strategic advantage.

“India is not a replacement for us, but a complement. Our customers in Germany and Europe will benefit directly from the new expertise and dynamism that we are bringing in from Bangalore,” continued our Managing Director.
